Roth serves alongside Vaughan as one of the Syndicate's Commanders, and where Vaughan moves through a room with easy momentum, Roth holds it together. Professional, measured, and precise about how he operates, he's the structure that keeps their unit running at the standard Roman expects.

He and Vaughan have built a command record that Roman relies on, though the methods they use to get there sit outside what most of the other Commanders would sanction. Roth doesn't take pleasure in the work the way Vaughan does. He simply does what the job requires and does it thoroughly, which in some respects makes him the more dangerous of the two.

He spends a portion of his time managing the edges of situations Vaughan has already pushed past the line, smoothing over what needs smoothing, keeping the fallout contained. He does it without complaint and without drawing attention to the fact that he's doing it. That's just how they function.

He is loyal to Roman and to the Syndicate's structure, and he brings a cold, disciplined consistency to everything he does. The results speak for themselves. They always have.
