NOLAN

AFFILIATION: THE SYNDICATE

Nolan Reyes chose this. He walked into the Syndicate as a teenager with enough behind him already that he earned his place rather than being given one, and he's never looked back at the direction he walked.

He is not a subtle man. He fills whatever room he occupies, runs hot in a way that most of the Syndicate's senior figures don't, and finds genuine enjoyment in the work that he has never particularly bothered to conceal. Fast, instinctive, and relentless, he reads chaos as opportunity and moves toward it while other people are still deciding whether to step back. When he grins before a job, there's nothing friendly in it. That's just who he is.

He came up alongside Brock Lawson, and more than a decade later, that partnership remains the most defining fact about him. They've shared the same floors, pulled each other through firefights where backup never arrived, and built something between them that functions without discussion and holds under pressure. Nolan handles the crew-facing work, keeps the Enforcers in line, and takes point wherever presence matters more than precision. When someone steps out of line, the correction is personal, immediate, and not repeated.

He is capable of genuine cruelty when the work invites it, and he'd be the first to say so. What he wouldn't mention, because it isn't something he talks about, is that there's a line he holds underneath all of it. East Halworth has a way of teaching people where that line sits. Nolan learned early and hasn't forgotten.
