Keller is the first Enforcer Brock and Nolan built their team around, and for good reason. He's steady in a way that doesn't require explanation or maintenance, the steadiness that comes from years of doing the work right and never once needing to be told twice. Brock trusts him without reservation, which isn't something he extends easily, and isn't something Keller has ever given him reason to reconsider.

He serves as the team's most senior Enforcer, partnered with Slade, a newer addition who benefits from running alongside someone with that much time and experience behind him. Along with Keir, he carries the team's highest level of field medical training, making him one of the people the team relies on when something goes wrong out there.

He doesn't need recognition and doesn't look for it. He shows up, does the work, and leaves no gaps for anyone to fill behind him. The team knows what they have in him without having to think about it, which is exactly the point.
