Briggs gets the job done and doesn't spend much time worrying about how he sounds while he's doing it. He's capable, physically imposing, and has enough experience behind him to run surveillance, vehicle recovery, and the hardware side of the team's technical work: drive cloning, tracker monitoring, data logging. In the field and at the monitors, he's exactly what the job requires.

He serves under Brock and Nolan alongside his partner Jensen, and between the two of them they cover the quieter, longer-range work that keeps the operation running between flashpoints. Jensen handles the measured end of things. Briggs handles the rest.

He has an edge that doesn't always stay where it belongs, a tendency to push at the boundaries of a situation and see what gives. Most of the time, nothing gives, and Brock makes sure of that. He keeps his head down after a correction and saves the energy for the road.

He is loyal to the Syndicate's structure above everything else. That has never required examination and he's never offered one.
